Our History
Founded in Portland in 2017, Rational Unicorn Legal Services began with a vision to make business law more accessible and community-driven. Our name reflects our approach: creative thinking paired with practical legal advice.
In 2024, Lindy Laurence became owner, expanding services across Oregon and Washington and strengthening our client-focused processes. Under her leadership, we earned recognition as “Best Law Firm” in Willamette Week’s Best of Portland Readers’ Poll in both 2024 and 2025, with attorneys Lindy Laurence and Nicole Hetz also named among Portland’s top lawyers.
