Parrish Jones is a business advisor, entrepreneur, and seasoned executive with decades of experience guiding companies through the financial, operational, and tax-related complexities of growth. With a professional background spanning roles as CEO, CFO, and COO, Parrish has worked across sectors including technology, manufacturing, construction, consumer products, and venture-backed startups, both nationally and abroad. His leadership has helped businesses not only grow but thrive, with over $90 million in equity and debt financing facilitated under his strategic financial direction.

Parrish leads the Tax Compliance and Advisory business at Rational Unicorn Legal Services, helping clients navigate complicated tax landscapes and financial structures with clarity and confidence. His goal is to empower business owners by demystifying the financial side of their operations, offering practical solutions that support long-term sustainability and economic justice. Whether a business is expanding globally or just getting started, Parrish’s insights are grounded in real-world experience and a commitment to responsible, values-driven growth. 

Prior to joining Rational Unicorn, Parrish was a partner in a public accounting firm where he led the business advisory and tax practice. In that role, he provided fractional CFO and COO services to emerging and mid-sized companies, offering tailored strategies for financial health and operational excellence. He has a particular passion for helping entrepreneurs -- especially those using business as a force for good -- build strong financial foundations that allow them to scale with intention and integrity.

Parrish is proud to bring a calm, grounded perspective to his work. He believes in aligning purpose with profitability, and he approaches his clients’ challenges with both rigor and empathy. He holds a B.A. in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Seattle University’s Albers School of Business, and pursued further studies in Accounting at Central Washington University.

In addition to his professional life, Parrish is a committed advocate for economic equity and environmental sustainability. He brings these values into his advising work, knowing that strong businesses can build stronger communities. Outside of work, Parrish fuels his passion for the open road on his Triumph café racer, chasing s-curves and long rides that clear the mind. He thrives on mastering new skills -- from calisthenics to martial arts -- and finds balance in reading, tackling home projects, and losing himself in music, whether listening or dancing. When he’s not chasing the next challenge, he’s in the stands cheering on his kids at high school football games and track meets, proudly rooting for their success.
