Raised in Portland, Quinn brings pizzaz and sparkles to Rational Unicorn’s design and events. Art has always been a constant throughout her life. After attending Pacific Northwest University of Art & Design, then transferring to Emily Carr University of Art & Design, Quinn then took time off to ask herself the question, “So, how does my connection to art relate to a career?”. While rarely a linear path, Quinn found herself developing a fond interest in organic food & small scale farming. 

In 2019, Quinn co-founded a small business in Portland called Farm Punk Salads. A salad specific operation, they grew salad greens in Gresham and produced a line of tahini-based salad dressings sold at grocery stores, farmers markets & direct-to-consumer with a bike delivered CSA. It was while running Farm Punk that Quinn found her stride with design, marketing and communications. Currently enrolled at Portland State University in the Graphic Design program, Quinn is continuing to develop her web design, branding, typography and page layout skills.

A self-identified Art Jock, Quinn is passionate about backcountry cross country skiing, paddleboarding, gravel grinder cycling, ice skating, long days on sandy river beaches, and always continuing to learn about the landscapes around here (including outer space). As DIY as a life mantra, Quinn also has experience in building off grid systems and making 3D things; woodworking, electrical work, light design and interior design are some of her favorites.

Quinn loves being a part of the Rational Unicorn team. She brings her small business experience and passion for community values into all the work she does.
