Born and raised in Georgia, Rupal attended Georgia State University to pursue a degree in Criminal Justice. Although she wanted to become a lawyer herself, life had other plans for her. For the past six and a half years, Rupal has been working alongside her dad at their hotel management company as Director of Operations. There she not only managed several hotels and their staff but also assisted with the construction of new hotels. Before working with her father, Rupal spent a few years working at Clayton County Probate Court in Georgia. She worked in the Vital Records Department while also assisting the Judge with a Mental Health Treatment Court. Rupal also spent some time working at The Anderson Firm in Georgia as a legal assistant. 

Rupal was introduced to her now husband, Shirin (who lives in Portland), in the middle of the pandemic. A long distance relationship was hard enough without adding a worldwide pandemic to the mix. However, they got through it and were married in July 2022. Now Rupal calls Portland, Oregon home.

Rupal works with Rational Unicorn on a part time basis as the Client Service Manager while still remotely assisting with her father’s business. While she’s not juggling jobs, Rupal enjoys cooking, baking, dancing, traveling, and reading thriller novels. She enjoys baking very much and has even taught herself how to make macarons and now has people sending in orders for events! Rupal is also a fluent Hindi and Gujarati speaker.

Rupal is glad to be a part of the Rational Unicorn team and enjoys working in the legal field!
